Colleen received her advanced degrees in Vocal Performance and Vocal Pedagogy from B.U. and SDSU. Having always had a love of theater, she then studied acting and directing at Trinity Rep Conservatory, where she made her professional debut as Cathleen in A Long Day’s Journey into Night.
For over 30 years she has performed on both coasts, taught singing, and directed plays and musicals. She and her husband moved to Maine in 2001, and since then she has been busy singing, acting, directing, and teaching. She has worked at several community and professional theaters including CLT, Public Theatre, Waterville Opera House, TAM, and MCP (where she was also board president/AD for a time).
She is also a regular judge at the Maine Drama Festival since 2002. Most recently, she was the drama director at St. Dom’s, and has been a cantor for the Basilica of Sts. Peter and Paul since 2010. She is thrilled to be a part of this new theatrical endeavor!
